Oppo has given each variant a premium AMOLED display with slim bezels and lightweight designs.

The F31 Pro+ 5G sports a 6.8-inch flat AMOLED display with a 93.5% screen-to-body ratio. It weighs just 195 grams and is 7.7mm thin.

The F31 Pro 5G and standard F31 feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED display, both with a thickness of 7.9mm, while weighing 191g and 187g, respectively.

The base F31 also integrates an under-display fingerprint sensor, bringing flagship-level convenience to a lower price point.

Oppo F31 Series: Performance And Hardware

Performance is where Oppo has clearly differentiated the three models.

The Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, with a 2.63GHz Cortex-A715 Prime core, three Cortex-A715 performance cores, and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores. The Adreno 720 GPU and Qualcomm AI Engine ensure smooth gaming and multitasking. The device supports up to 24GB RAM (12GB physical + 12GB virtual) with UFS 3.1 storage.

The Oppo F31 Pro 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, built on a 4nm process. It features four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, paired with a Mali-G615 GPU. Like the Pro+, it supports 24GB RAM expansion and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Oppo F31 5G runs on MediaTek Dimensity 6300, built on a 6nm process, with two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores. It is the entry-level performer but still offers 5G connectivity and reliable efficiency.

All three models run on ColorOS 15, equipped with the Trinity Engine for CPU optimization and smoother multitasking.

Oppo F31 Series: Cameras

The Oppo F31 series focuses on versatile photography with AI support.

All models come with a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS. The Pro and Pro+ add a 2MP monochrome sensor for depth enhancements, while the base F31 keeps it simple with a single 50MP sensor.

On the front, the F31 Pro and Pro+ carry a 32MP camera, while the standard F31 has a 16MP shooter.

The devices support 4K video recording and are rated for underwater photography without a protective case. AI-based camera tools include AI Eraser 2.0, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover, and AI Clarity Enhancer, making photography smarter and easier.

Oppo F31 Series: AI Features

Oppo has gone all-in with AI this year, giving the F31 lineup some of its most advanced productivity tools.

  • AI VoiceScribe can transcribe and translate calls or meetings in 29 languages.
  • AI Call Assistant offers live translations with subtitles or speech in nine Indian regional languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali.
  • Oppo Docs with Gemini AI supports document summarisation, rewriting, and smart edits.

These tools position the Oppo F31 series as not just a smartphone but a productivity companion.

Oppo F31 Series: Battery And Charging

The highlight across all models is the massive 7,000mAh battery. This makes the F31 lineup one of the most battery-dense smartphone series in the Indian market.

Charging is handled by 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, which can charge the phone to 58% in just 30 minutes.

To prevent overheating, Oppo has fitted each device with vapor chambers. The Pro+ features a 5,219mm² vapor chamber, while the Pro and base F31 use 4,363mm² and 4,300mm² systems, respectively.

Oppo F31 Series: Safety And Durability

Durability is another strong point. All three devices carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, meaning they are resistant to dust, rain, and even high-pressure water.

This makes the F31 series reliable for users who need a tough phone for outdoor and everyday conditions.

Final Verdict

The Oppo F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+ 5G represent one of the most ambitious smartphone launches of 2025. With massive batteries, advanced processors, AI-driven productivity, and strong durability, the lineup covers everything from casual users to power-hungry professionals.

At a starting price of ₹22,999, the F31 series is set to compete strongly against rivals like Samsung Galaxy A-series, OnePlus Nord, and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note Pro series.

For buyers seeking a smartphone with long-lasting battery life, powerful cameras, and AI productivity features, the Oppo F31 series offers one of the most complete packages in its segment.
